Vickie Martina, MSW, Director

Master of Social Work, Florida State University

• Professional background in medical, rehab, hospice, and geriatric social work and administration

• Experience providing social services: resident advocate, emotional support and grief and loss counseling, psychosocial assessments, end-of-life concerns, referrals to community resources

• CSU Field Instructor for the School of Social Work providing supervision for student interns

• Board Member: Foundation on Aging of Larimer County

• Passion for working with seniors and their families to provide assistance with finding solutions to the challenges of aging in place in our community.

• Commitment to excellent care and services for the residents of the Courtyard

   

Lynne Hernandez, M.A., Staff Coordinator

Registered Medical Assistant

• 15 years of experience in the medical field before coming to the Courtyard.

• Enjoys working with the senior population because she likes to get to know our residents and learn about their life stories.

• Supervisor of our team of Qualified Medication Administration Persons (QMAP) and Personal Care Providers (PCP) offering guidance and education.

Emilee Olson, R.N., B.S.N.,

University of Pittsburgh

• Work and life experiences in a wide variety of nursing venues

• An inquiring mind that believes one is never too old to learn

• The choice of a career in nursing due in large measure to love for my paternal grandmother, who was a incredibly wise woman with a very caring heart, whom I very much desire to emulate

• Life experiences with my parents and my husband’s parents that enable me to understand and empathize with our residents’ family members

• An age and life experiences that help me to understand the emotions that come with aging and its losses

• A genuine love of the elderly

   

Trisha Campbell, Marketing Coordinator

University of Northern Colorado

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Growth and Development

• Previous experience in activities working with people of all ages

• Loves to plan parties, decorate, and provide unique and fun activities

• High energy, enthusiastic, creative

• Personal and professional experience with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease

• Flight attendant for 18 years; "serving people comes naturally."

• Genuine love and spirit of caring for the residents at The Courtyard

Carol Jones, Activities Coordinator,

University of Wyoming

• Bachelors in Journalism, emphasis in Public Relations.
• Previous experience as Activities Director at the Eppson Center for Seniors in Laramie, WY.
• Vast experience in planning events and activities for all ages, coordinating volunteers and working with people.
• Always brings a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Is energetic, spirited and passionate about the residents at The Courtyard.

Gae Annelle Russo, Administrative Assistant,

Colorado State University

• BS in Interior Design with an emphasis in space planning
• 15 years of experience in office management prior to coming to The Courtyard
• Professional Organizer in her spare time

Ian Kaman, Kitchen Manager

• Associates Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management
• Brings a variety of professional cooking experience, including working as a chef in hospitals, resorts, and through catering.
• Creates montlhy menu, manages the kitchen, and supervises the Courtyard Food Services Department
• Ian's goal is to improve the quality of resident's lives by providing a fresh, fulfilling dining experience.

Jack Miller, Maintenance

• Grew up on a farm and is truly a “jack of all trades.” There isn’t anything he can’t fix!

• Professional experience in sales and service of modular homes. He likes tinkering with old cars and motorcycles.

• Performs maintenance and repairs on the building and has a lot of knowledge in his tool belt!

• Enjoys the senior population and eats lunch with our residents every day.
